Advanced Diploma in Visual Communication
The programme ensures students to gain a broad-based knowledge on the variety of design communications disciplines, including advertising, branding, visual identity, packaging and design management. This programme aims to develop the conceptual and idea generation abilities required to graphic produce innovative and effective communication solutions or products through print and / or online mediums.
A key feature of this programme is the incorporation of a design management module that is structured to provide design strategies that can be applied to the competitive design industry. The programme is managed in collaboration with the PSB Academy, Singapore. After completing this programme, students will have the opportunity to progress to a bachelor’s degree programme conferred by the University of Hertfordshire, UK.

Admission Criteria
Academic Requirements:
- PSB Diploma in Visual Communication; OR
- Candidates with other equivalent qualifications will be considered as case-by-case basis
Language Proficiency
- IELTS with an overall score of 5.5 (with writing sub band no less than 5.0), or
- Paper-based TOEFL test score of 525 / Computer-based TOEFL test score of 196 / Internet based TOEFL test score of 69-70 with minimum score of 14 for writing, or
- TOEIC with a minimum score of 605, or
- Minimum Grade D in Hong Kong CEE English, or
- Minimum Grade C6 in GCE O-Level English / Pearson Test for English (PTE-A) test score of 42, or
- IGCSE “Pass” in English, or
- Minimum Grade B in SPM English / C6 in 1119 SPM English / B6 in UEC English, or
- Senior Middle School 3 English subject with 55%, or
- Successful completion of PSB Academy Certificate In English Proficiency (CEP) Level 5, or
- An equivalent English language qualification, or
- UTS Insearch Academic English 3 (eq. to IELTS 5.5)
