Advanced Diploma in Visual Communication
Our Advanced Diploma in Visual Communication (ADVC) program is managed in collaboration with the PSB Academy in Singapore. After completing this program, students will have the opportunity to progress to a bachelor’s degree program conferred by the University of Hertfordshire, UK.
Course Detail
Course Duration: 30 months (full-time)
Intakes: January, April, July, October
Qualification: Advanced Diploma in Visual Communication

Admission Criteria
Academic Requirements:
- SMA 2 & SMA 3 / Year 11 & Year 12 with average of 7 for 5 academic subjects and 5 passes with average of 55, no marks below 50 (including English and Math), OR
- O Level/ STPM with completion of 5 subjects with a minimum of 5 C’s (including English and Math), OR
- A Level/ STPM with completion of 5 subjects with a minimum of 3 C’s (including English and Math)
English Requirements:
- IELTS 6.0, OR
- A pass in RC English Placement Test (min. 80)
Entry Test Requirements:
- English Test
- Design Aptitude Test
- Drawing
- Portfolio (especially for Design Program; if any)
Entry requirement Diploma in Visual Communication (DVC):
- IGCSE “O” level or equivalent ; OR
- Diploma Program minimum entry age 16 years old
- Mature candidates (> 30 years old with 8 years work experience)
- Candidates with other qualification will be considered as case – by – case basis
Entry requirement Advance Diploma in Visual Communication (ADVC):
Diploma in Visual Communication by Raffles College/PSB Academy
Language Proficiency:
- GCE “O” level credit pass (grade 1 to 6) in English (as a first language); or
- IELTS with an overall score of at least 5.5; or
- TOEFL score of at least 550 (paper-based) or 213 points (computer-based); or
- An equivalent English language qualification
