International Foundation Programme prepares students for university, giving them a grounding in the fundamentals of business studies and preparing them to meet the challenges ahead. Our International Foundation Programme modules are not only aimed at imparting knowledge, but also developing a students’ skills set, confidence, character and integrity – providing students with the best possible head start in their university life.

Course Duration: 6 months
Intake: January, April, July & October 

Admission Criteria

Academic Requirements:

• Completed SMU/SMA/SMK 1 (average of 7.0), or equivalent, or
• Completed SMU/SMA/SMK 2 (average of 6.5), or equivalent, or
• Completed GCE ‘O’ Level (with minimum 1 grade of C6), or equivalent, or
• Completed International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) (with minimum 1 pass), or
• Completed Edexcel O-Level (with minimum 1 pass), or
• Completed London Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) Level 2 (with minimum 1 pass credits)
• Candidates with at least 2 GCE “O” Level Credit or 2 passes may apply for permission to overload. Approval is at the discretion of the AHOS

English Requirements

• IELTS with an overall score of 5.5, or 
• Paper-based TOEFL test score of 525/Computer-based TOEFL test score of 196/Internet based TOEFL test score of 69-70, or 
• TOEIC with a minimum score of 605, or 
• Minimum Grade D7 in GCE O-Level/Pearson Test for English (PTE-A) test score of 42, or 
• IGCSE “Pass” in English, or 
• Minimum Grade C in SPM English/D7 in SPM 1119 English/B6 in UEC English, or 
• Senior Middle School 2 English subject with 55%, or 
• Successful completion of PSB Academy Certificate in English Proficiency (CEP) Level 5, or 
• An equivalent English language qualification,
