Tunas Bangsa High School Workshop
Product, Price, Place and Promotion (4P’s). Those are the 4 key aspects of business according to Philip Kotler, the father of modern marketing. On 17 March, Raffles College invited Tunas Bangsa high school for a Creative Challenge, where they will learn about the fundamentals of business and design. At the end of the session, they will be divided into 5 groups of 10 and given a task to come up with a product and an advertisement poster.
They are required to present their product align with 4P’s within 90 minutes. The best 2 groups will receive a prize in trophy dan cash. In the beginning of the session Mr. Arifin Fu, Director of Raffles College shared the fundamentals of 4 P’s followed by Mr. Arif Ali, Head of Design Program who explains about copywriting and advertising. During the discussion session, participants were provided with a power point template in a laptop to do their research and complete their presentation.
Their innovations were truly amazing, fresh and creative. They presented their idea in front of the judges: Mr. Arifin Fu and Mr. Arif Ali. Raffles College student council also participated in this event. They were acting as a guide for each team member and they were playing games with participants while judges were deciding. Everyone was having fun, game winners will get shopping vouchers.
