Advanced Diploma in Visual Communications (Graphic Design)

Our Designpreneur Program is managed in collaboration with First Media Design School (FMDS) Singapore. After finishing this program, student will have the opportunity to progress to a Bachelor Degree program conferred by University of the West of England (UWE) in FMDS Singapore or in home campus (UK).

"Overall, this programme aims to develop the conceptual and idea generation abilities required to produce innovative and effective communication solutions or products through print and / online medium."

In this course you will gain broad-based knowledge of an array of design communications disciplines including advertising, branding, visual identity, as well as packaging and design management.

Admission Criteria

Academic Requirements:

  • SMA 2 & SMA 3 / Year 11 & Year 12 with average of 7 for 5 academic subjects and 5 passes with average of 55, no marks below 50 (including English and Math), OR
  • O Level/ STPM with completion of 5 subjects with a minimum of 5 C’s (including English and Math), OR
  • A Level/ STPM with completion of 5 subjects with a minimum of 3 C’s (including English and Math)

English Requirements:

  • IELTS 6.0, OR
  • A pass in RC English Placement Test (min. 80).

Entry Test Requirments:

  • English Test
  • Design Aptitude Test 
  • Drawing
  • Portfolio (especially for Design Program; if any)

Further Studies

Upon completing Raffles College Designpreneur Program, students will be awarded an Advanced Diploma in Visual Communication. Students who wish to continue their studies will be able to do a 1 year “top up” Bachelor of Arts programs conferred by University of the West of England in First Media Design School Singapore, or 1.5 year “top up” to University of the West of England, UK.
