It’s a highly sought after field of study since the advancement of technology and printing allowing creative ideas to be implemented in so many ways and the demand for its application in businesses are high.
Graphic Design, Advertising and Illustration are some examples of most common applications of Visual Communication in the real world. For example, in Graphic Design; it is a specialized field focusing more in Brand Design, Publication, Packaging, User Interface and most of the time deals a lot with print medias.
In Raffles College, we provide students the chance to learn all the essential aspect from Visual Communication and Graphic Design. It’s an industry oriented programme that implementing what is the current practice and relevant with the working world, meaning projects that they learn to do here with us are constantly updated to suit what is in demand. Our programme was design so that students will finish their Advanced Diploma in Visual Communication in two years and entitle them to complete their Degree, Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Graphic Design in the third final year. Upon completing Raffles College Designpreneur Program, students will be awarded an Advanced Diploma in Visual Communication. Students who wish to continue their studies will be able to do a 1 year “top up” Bachelor of Arts programs conferred by University of the West of England in First Media Design School Singapore, or 1.5 year “top up” to University of the West of England, UK.
